HealthDecision develops shared decision-making software enabling clearer clinician-patient discussions that explore the benefits and harms of medical options. Built by a physician for physicians, the HealthDecision software suite currently contains tools for evaluating cardiovascular risk, atrial fibrillation, and lung cancer and breast cancer screening. The Company partners with leading medical specialists and institutions with deep expertise to develop new tools and additional tools are always in development.
The HealthDecision platform is integrated into the clinicians’ standard workflow within the EHR; incorporates the latest medical guidelines and performs complex risk calculations; and documents shared decision making, which is increasingly required for reimbursement. HealthDecision already has been used with over 55,000 patients within UW Health system, and surveys have indicated a significant boost in patient satisfaction scores. HealthDecision is based in Madison, Wisconsin.
