Nourica is a seed-stage MedTech startup developing the technology of non-invasive diagnostics of health biomarkers from human sweat.
Our innovative technology eliminates the discomfort and pain associated with traditional diagnostic methods that require blood draws taken by specialized medical personnel.
The company was founded in December 2022 and is headquartered in Wrocław (Poland).
Currently, we are hiring 12 employees dealing mainly with R&D of new technology.
Our first product is a medical diagnostic tool in the shoe box size. Unique measuring strips are used for the measurement - the user rubs the skin to collect the sample and then places the strip in the device. The device shows the concentration of 9 essential substances in sweat, including cortisol, urea, creatinine, and others, which allow the assessment of the patient's health and, on this basis, the introduction of appropriate countermeasures - including recommending a doctor's visit, suggesting a balanced diet based on the needs of the body.
We plan to develop two versions of devices- Nourica One - the stationary, table-top device that will be available in the medical facilities, dietician offices, and wellness and fitness facilities. The second device - Nourica Kiosk - is an interactive diagnostic kiosk available for users in public places, including workplaces, shopping centers, etc.
