Short description
Brainreader develops software which detects neurodegenerative diseases.
Description
Brainreader was founded in 2011 as a spin-off from Aarhus University by a team of highly skilled and motivated individuals with complementary competencies dedicated to bringing our brain image analysis technology to the clinical market. Research done by The European Medicines Agency’s shows, that baseline measurement of low hippocampal volume (i.e., atrophy) is a supportive indicator of evolution from cognitive impairment to Alzheimer´s disease and dementia. The Brainreader software is developed on the basis of such research. Brainreader wants to be a dominant player in the market for structural analysis of MRI’s. We want Neuroreader™ to be the routine tool of choice for physicians and MRI clinics all over the world when assessing structural MRI’s. Brainreader is currently bringing our new cutting-edge software tool, Neuroreader™, to the clinical market. It is our vision that Brainreader will deliver objective, precise, and personal analysis of brain scans. Ultimately increasing quality of life for the patient and significantly reducing disease-related costs for society.
