Real-time computer vision from video streams, helps with automatization of highly monotonous and repetitive tasks that previously were dependant on human factor, such as monitoring and inspections. Additionally, tasks that were till now not economically viable to justify the cost of personnel required, are now possible and can provide value for companies 24/7.
Traditional Cloud based computer vision platforms work well, although with some detection latency, but as soon as the internet disappears or temporary bandwidth issues arise. the data processing stops, The second problem is that data storage and processing takes place outside of businesses local network, where you have to rely on the data safety standards of the cloud computing providers, that do not have to meet the safety standards of your organization.
We believe that customers interested in the automation capabilities of computer vision solutions, should be able to use a single affordable platform, that works reliably (isn't dependant on internet connection), analyzes and stores output data locally and through strong integration options, can be easily implemented into any business processes.
