Short description
Food technology to process industrial food & beverage byproducts into upcycled food ingredients at scale.
Description
NETZRO's patent pending technology powers the safe capture and conversion of industrial food & beverage byproducts into new sustainable upcycled food ingredients at scale. We are in the upcycled food tech industry with a US market opportunity of processing 6 billion pounds of food byproduct each year. We power food producers using upcycled ingredients. Our customers have a problem with the large amounts of valuable byproducts that they pay to discard. An example is liquid egg processing plants, which is often tons per day and costs thousands of dollars. We solve their problem by processing the byproducts in NETZRO’s proprietary equipment. We are different because we include our customers in the revenue stream of selling these new upcycled ingredients. This gives them the potential to not only reduce their cost of disposal but to also make money. This model allows NETZRO to secure the byproduct for commercialization. NETZRO makes money by licensing its technology and charging a licensing fee based on a charge per pound processed at the source, and we make revenue on brokering the upcycled food ingredients. We have partners in two sectors for proof of concept, egg breaking facilities for calcium and collagen from eggshell recovery and breweries & distilleries for spent grain recovery. We have successfully processed large volumes and have sold the new upcycled ingredients from both sectors. Let’s move the Earth’s food forward together.
